After initially training in psychology, Lucie Richard completed a Ph.D. in community health at the Université de Montréal. She then spent two years at the Institute of Health Promotion Research (UBC) as Postdoctoral Fellow. She is pursuing her career at the Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal.
