Daniel Adrover-Roig, Ph.D.
| Graduated in Psychology (2004) at the Balearic Islands University, he doctorated in 2009 in Cognitive Neuroscience of ageing at the Balearic Islands University, Spain (Dr. Francisco Barceló). In 2008, he made a pre-doctoral stay predoctoral at the Department of Experimental Psychology, Oxford Univerfsity (Dr. Anna Christina Nobre). Now he works as a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre de Recherche de l'Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal under the supervision of Dr. Ana Inés Ansaldo granted provided by the Obra Social "Sa Nostra" (Caixa de Balears). |
Research interests My current research interests concern the impact of bilingualism on cognitive reserve, specially on the potential boost in executive function related to a lifelong. bilingualism. My research involves both a neuropsychological and neuroimaging perspective (optical imaging and fMRI). Keywords: cognitive reserve, bilingualism as a protection of dementia, influence of bilingualism on executive control, specially on interference control. |
