| | Research interests Dr Chantal Dumoulin’s work centres on the health of older women. Her studies focus primarily on urinary incontinence - a frequent problem confronting this population. More specifically, she is studying the ageing process of the female urinary system in order to better understand the physiopathology of urinary incontinence in older woman. She is also involved in the prevention and treatment of this problem, including the ability to identify those women who would most likely benefit from preventative treatments such as pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation. Her methodological expertise includes the development and psychometric evaluations of measurement instruments as well as evaluating the effectiveness of preventive or curatives treatments through randomized clinical trials. | | Seach for publication for Chantal Dumoulin on PubMed |
